    Afshin Abadi, Enterprise Technology Specialist, Intel
    Afshin AbadiAfshin Abadi has been with Intel Corporation for eight years as a Solution Specialist and Enterprise Technology Specialist helping Fortune 1000 customers understand and implement Intel technologies. Afshin has worked in the technology industry since 1991. He specializes in data center design and hardware optimization.


    Al Gillen, Research Vice President, System Software, IDC
    Al GillenAs research vice president, system software, Al Gillen is responsible for research and analysis on client and server operating systems, software appliances, and related infrastructure software. The primary focus of his operating environments research is on Linux, Windows, and Unix.

    Al brings 26 years of computer industry experience to IDC. His research at IDC has included participation in studies on total cost of ownership for Linux, Windows and Unix systems in both client and server configurations, as well as assisting in IDC's recurring demand-side research covering the growth and evolution of the Linux market.

    Prior to joining IDC in 1999, Al was editor-in-chief of ENT and served as editor-in-chief of MIDRANGE Systems.  He spent the first 10 years of his career at an engineering firm where he performed embedded system design, development and real time programming. Al holds a B.S. degree in Computer Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

    Aaron Holzer, Technology Manager, Microsoft
    Aaron HolzerAaron Holzer is a Technology Manager in Microsoft’s Windows Server organization responsible for virtualization technology and the Microsoft relationship with Novell.  Prior to joining Microsoft, Aaron spent seven years at Intel where he was a Senior Product Marketing Engineer in Intel's Server Platform Group responsible for server virtualization marketing strategies as well as a Strategic Relationship Manager responsible for Intel's technical and business activities with key ISVs. Before Joining Intel, Aaron spent nearly 21 years at Digital Equipment and Compaq in various technical and marketing roles. Aaron has a BS and MS in Computer Sciences from the City College of NY as well as an MBA from Boston College.

    Lance Lillie, Principal Technology Specialist, Windows Virtualization Technologies, Microsoft
    Lance Lillie is a Principal Technology Specialist for the Microsoft Southwest District working from the Irvine office covering the Southern California and Hawaii geographies.  Lance has worked with Microsoft customers and Partners for 13+ years assisting them build solutions based on the Microsoft Windows Platform and Enterprise Servers.  Lance is a Windows Server Technology Specialist covering the Windows Server Operating Systems, Windows Platform Architecture, Network Infrastructure, Interoperability, Identity Management, Network Migrations, Terminal Services, Server Management.  Lance has spent the last 2 years as a Microsoft Virtualization specialist focused on our Microsoft Virtualization 360 Strategy and Solutions.  


    Robert Logan, Vice President for Enterprise Infrastructure Services, Science Applications International Corporation
    Robert LoganRobert Logan joined Science Applications International Corporation in 2004 as the Vice President for Enterprise Infrastructure Services. His team of engineers, operators and project managers are responsible for round-the-clock operations of enterprise computing and network services supporting over 44,000 employees at 250 locations worldwide.

    In 2007, Logan was recognized by Computerworld’s Premier 100.

    Prior to SAIC, Logan was a 29-year Marine Corps officer with extensive experience in operational communications, systems engineering and program management. He holds a BS degree in Electrical Engineering from Washington State University, and a MS degree in Electrical Engineering and the post-master degree, Electrical Engineer, from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California.

    Wilson Mattos, Technology Specialist, Novell
    Wilson MattosWilson Mattos is focused on the adoption and deployment of Linux in corporate environments. He has 15 years of experience in the IT industry and has been a Linux advocate since 1995. Wilson’s previous roles include Director of Systems Engineering for Paramount Pictures, where he was responsible for global infrastructure services and Senior Consultant for Novell Consulting Services, where he assisted Fortune 500 companies accelerate the deployment of IT infrastructure services. He holds a Masters of Science Degree in Technology Management from Pepperdine University.

    Ron Milton, Executive Vice President, Computerworld
    Ron MiltonRon manages the events business, strategic alliances and awards programs for IT executive titles and IT management in storage networking, mobile and wireless, infrastructure/data center, business intelligence and green IT market sectors. Milton leads the team responsible for creating content, sponsor sales, operations, marketing and audience development for all of Computerworld's events, such as brands like Premier 100 IT Leaders®, Storage Networking World®, Mobile & Wireless World®, Infrastructure Management World®, Business Intelligence Perspectives®, Green IT Symposium® and 30-40 IT Executive Summits and Executive Roundtables per year. He is also responsible for the same businesses at InfoWorld® and the Computerworld Honors Program®.

    He has 25 years of experience in information technology, serving in both vendor and information services management positions. Before his current role at IDG, Ron was Senior Vice President of CXO Media and General Manager of CIO Magazine's Executive Program Division. Prior to joining Computerworld in 1999, he was President and CEO of IDG's Internet Commerce (ICE) business unit, which he founded in 1996 as a start-up business, and was a pioneer in using e-commerce systems and web marketing. He was a 1996 recipient of the coveted IDG Chairman's Award for the most successful start-up business globally. Before joining IDG, Milton spent five years as Vice President/Partner of GLA computer Systems, a software developer and channel integrator with market share leadership in wholesale travel solutions. Prior to GLA, he also held a variety of management positions in channel management, field sales and marketing at Honeywell Information Systems and Bull HN. He holds degrees from Concordia University and Sir George Williams University.
